Vanco has been the standard for online giving at churches across the nation for over 20 years. At Holy Cross we evaluated the Vanco package and were impressed with it's online security and user-friendly features.

Vanco offers giving through Bank EFT or through Credit Card.  Your gifts are deposited directly to the Holy Cross bank account.  

Gifts can be made through Vanco's secure payment service by:

  • Clicking the "Give Online" button which will take you to our Vanco web page, or by
  • Downloading the Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement app (then search for Holy Cross Lutheran Church Highlands Ranch CO).

NOTE: The entire amount of your gift, including transaction fees, will be reported as your charitable contribution.

Have you thought about a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)?

If you are age 70 1/2 or more and make distributions from your non-Roth retirement plan or IRA, a QCD is a great way to donate to our church. To do a QCD, you reach out to who holds your retirement plan and indicate you wish to make a QCD to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.  They will generate payment directly to our church.

You do not receive or remit this contribution.  You do not pay income taxes on a IRA distribution that is a QCD.  A QCD is a tax-free distribution.  If you are age 73 or older, you are subject to required minimum distributions (RMD) from your IRA.  The amount of your QCD satisfies an equal amount of your RMD.  Check with your IRA advisor for more details.
